For six elementary schools that are gathered under one organisation KSRW, we are building an opensource centralized IT solution. At first they worked with windows XP desktop pc's with all the support problems. Lots of money went into licenses. No we implementing a linux bases Terminal service solution bases on LTSP within a virtualized environment. Backup solutions, overal monitoring and data centralization are put in place. The project divided into 3 implementation steps; desktop implementation, VPN/security implementation, Custom learning tools.
